Q: Can I have a symbolic ceremony or a vows renewal with no paperwork involved?

A: Yes! And the ceremony is exactly the same as the legal wedding. Many couples that happens to find difficulty with their paperwork, they are getting married back home with by just signing the papers at their town hall without taking the ceremony part and then they come here and they have the actual ceremony with the views of the ocean and the breathtaking sunset and all these times, their guests don't even know about it!

Q: Can I get married anywhere in Santorini?

A: No. although Santorini is big, there are only a few places that we have permission to use for civil ceremonies but it doesn't make a difference because they all have the same magnificent view. Regarding Oia though, you have to inform us from the beginning if you wish to get married there, as it is a different town hall with different paperwork required and also you can see the sunset until the end as it sets behind the mountain. The best places to get married in Santorini is in Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli and Pyrgos caldera side.

Q: If IT IS two of us, do we need witnesses for our wedding in Santorini?

A: Many couples come alone to Santorini. Some of them want to avoid all the hassle and fuss of planning a large wedding ceremony at home. If you come alone, without wedding guests, we will provide necessary witnesses for your wedding ceremony, at no additional charge

They make sure to have a relaxed and fun session with them and also our agency's professionals, edit the photos and the video, what that means? In the photos, if you have black circles under the eyes, or wrinkles or moles or tattoos, we make them go and in the photos you will look perfect and this type of editing is offered only by us and not any other photographer in the island. In the video, we add music and photos and we also add discreet effects so your wedding DVD will be like a Hollywood production!

Q: What is an Apostille stamp and where can I get it from?

A: The Apostille is a validation stamp ensuring that a certain document is recognized in certain foreign countries (countries that signed the Hague Convention treaty).

Basically, a document is only valid in the country in which it was issued. Validation for recognition in another country used to be a very complicated and time-consuming matter and involved, in hierarchical order, several authorities of the issuing country, and, as a final step, validation by the Consulate of the country, in which the document was to be recognized.

In order to facilitate recognition of a document abroad, an international treaty regarding mutual recognition of documents was signed by many countries, including the U.S. and Australia.

This treaty is called the Hague Convention. According to that treaty a document originating in one Convention country is recognized in all other Convention countries if it bears the so-called Apostille stamp, which is a validation performed by the superior office in the country and state (province) where it was issued. In the United States the Secretary of State and the Deputy Secretary of State of the individual U.S. states provides the Apostille .
